The Georgian Bay Cycle For Hope is the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre’s largest and most impactful annual fundraiser, having raised close to $700,000 since its inception. Now in its 15th year—and for the third year in Collingwood—this inspiring event brings together cyclists from across South Georgian Bay and beyond to ride in support of those affected by cancer in our community.

In 2024, the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre expanded its reach by opening a new satellite location in Collingwood, providing vital programs and services to residents across South Georgian Bay. As part of the GBCSC umbrella, this new Centre continues the mission of delivering emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and educational support to individuals and families navigating a cancer diagnosis.

On August 15th, 2026, cyclists of all ages and abilities are invited to take on one of six scenic routes through Collingwood’s beautiful trails and countryside. Funds raised through this event will stay in the South Georgian Bay area—helping ensure that local cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers have access to:

  • Psychosocial group support and therapy programs
  • Individual counselling and support services
  • Financial assistance for treatment-related travel and accommodation
  • Information and education workshops
  • Exercise and wellness programs
  • Spiritual growth and healing support
  • Cancer-related nutritional services

…and most importantly, a compassionate community that offers strength, understanding, and hope.

By riding, fundraising, or donating, you’re helping build a lasting foundation of cancer support, close to home.
