2024 Cycle For Hope Event Day Information
Date: Saturday August 17, 2024
The Georgian Bay Cycle for Hope is scheduled to take place rain or shine, however, the safety of all participants is our top priority.
The ride will continue as scheduled in the case of rain, and riders are asked to use their discretion to determine their level of comfort with participating. In the case of thunder/lightning in the area, riders will not begin their ride until a minimum of 30 minutes after the last detected strike in the area.
Riders taking part in the 150km loop from Collingwood may finish their ride in Penetanguishene if they choose; Transportation will be available to take riders and their bikes back to Collingwood at 1:30pm with the one-way riders.

What to Bring:
- Completed ride waiver. This waiver is in addition to the basic waiver you agreed to at registration.
- Bike, helmet, and all other cycling gear needed to compete your ride (optional for Ice Cream Route participants).
- Snacks and Hydration for during your ride.
- Sun screen
Volunteers and aid stations will be placed along each route, but please prepare yourself as though this were an unsupported ride.
Lunch:
All riders will receive lunch at the Penetanguishene Finish Line (midway point for 150km riders). You will receive a wristband at registration, serving as your lunch ticket.
